Hey Citrus Heights, What Issues Do You Want to Talk About in 2013?

Tell us what you want us to cover in the comments below, and share this story with your friends and family in town.

Now that the holidays are behind us, we want to take a moment to look forward at 2013 to see what local issues we should be covering.

Us editors took a bit of time off during the holidays to relax with family and recharge our batteries, but now we’re back, and we really want you to guide our coverage going forward.

So Citrus Heights, what should we be covering in 2013? Whether it’s a simple news tip or a broad issue or subject, please tell us what you want to discuss in the months that lie ahead.

The three of us (Justin, Cody and Josh) are here to converse with you in the comments below this article.

We don't have the ability to cover everything in town, so we want your help in allocating our energy toward things you want to read about. Feel free to tell us why your suggested issue is important.

We need to help our schools out. My child class only has 2 out date mac's he is in second grade. He goes to alingtion heights elementary school. It shame that some company could sponsor a class room and buy a few updated macs! Per class. We don't want our kid be last in the area when it comes to electronics. My son teacher uses these computer daily for testing an tutoring. 21 boys and 10 girls in the classroom she needs all the help she can get. She does not have enough books in her classroom to let each kid to read! How do we let our kids down like this? We want successful young adults in the future of citrus heights.

Marti, try and of teh Service Clubs, e.g., Rotary, Kawains, etc. Unfortunately, thee is a shortage of "corporate" sponsors in this region that would accomodate your request. You might also try SAM's Club, Wal-Mart, and I think COSTCO has a program that might consider your request. You have to hustle, though.
