Citrus Heights Man Allegedly Steals Golf Cart and Drives on Highway Drunk

A 46-year-old Citrus Heights man was arrested in Calaveras County early Tuesday morning after he allegedly stole a golf cart, loaded it with champagne and golf clubs, and headed for the highway, the Calaveras Enterprise reports.

A drunk John Scott Vishion allegedly made it more than 13 miles before being arrested, at times traveling along the 55-mile-per-hour Highway 4, the Enterprise reported.
