Attention Citrus Heights business owners, property owners and residents: The City wants to know how is affecting you.
Weekly meetings will be held from 9-10 a.m. every Wednesday at Rusch Park starting Sept. 19 and give locals a chance to ask questions about the projects. Staff will be on-hand to answer questions.
, from Rusch Park to Sycamore Drive. The one-mile stretch will undergo upgrades that will ultimately feature 230 additional trees along the streets, 9,600 lineal feet of sidewalks and bike lanes, 100 energy efficient streetlights, in addition to road improvements, according to city documents. The project also includes underground utility improvements of electrical and water.
The City has posted signs to let residents know that businesses are open during construction, but some driveways are being torn up and shopping centers have limited driver access.
This project is the second segment of , which is expected to be done in August or September of next year, according to Regina Cave, Management Analyst II with the City of Citrus Heights.

Where: conference room 4; 7801 Auburn Blvd. The conference room is located in the northwest corner of the gym building; the entrance door is located on the west side of the building. For parking, the City asks attendees to park in the lot behind the west side of the building, not in front of the park's main entrance.
