Community Meeting This Week for Citrus Heights Creek Corridor Trail Project
The project would establish a trail system throughout the city's 26 miles of creek corridors.
The following announcement was submitted for publication by the city of Citrus Heights:
On Tuesday, January 14, 2014, the City of Citrus Heights is hosting the last of a series of community workshops to discuss the Creek Corridor Trail Project.
The purpose of the project is to evaluate the feasibility of establishing a multi-use trail system within the City's approximately 26 miles of creek corridors and SMUD utility corridor. The community workshop will provide information about specific trail alignments, creek and road crossings, implementation priorities, costs, and strategies to address safety and privacy concerns.
Come learn about the project's progress and tell us your thoughts. City representatives and members of the project team will be available to answer questions and discuss ideas in an informal setting. Additional Information

TIME: A comprehensive project presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., however the information stations will be available in an open house format from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
