Former San Juan Unified Employee Says Superintendent Harassed Her

Complaints against Superintendent Glynn Thompson allege gender-discrimination, harassment and retaliation toward female employees.

An ex-San Juan Unified School District director is the first person to come forward with a claim tort claim alleging that Superintendent Glynn Thompson harassed and bullied her, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Thompson is currently on administrative leave while complaints against him are investigated. His leave began mid-May.

Currently, Dr. General Davie, Jr. has been named acting superintendent of the district. He is a former San Juan Unified superintendent as well.

The Bee reports that Tracy Tomasky served nine years as director of early childhood education at the district until she was allegedly harassed to resign. The investigation may be coming to an end in the next few weeks; the board is expected to get a report in October, the Bee reports.
