Kids Love to Skate!

It's a fact kids love to skate. Your grandmother might have clamped on steel wheels to shoes or skated at one of the many rinks that dotted the United States. Roller skating became wildly popular during the late 1800's and grew in popularity until it exploded during the mid 1970's. But, kids are the ones who enjoy skating the most. The learn to balance, then practice, and become masters of the sport. School groups and scout groups come regularly and skate to a DJ playing the latest music. Ask many adults where they learned to skate, and the answer will be, "As a kid...at Sunrise Rollerland."
