Laura Taylor, Neighbor

Laura Taylor is a 20 year resident of Citrus Heights.  She has served the City of Citrus Heights as a Planning Commissioner; chairing the commission in 2008.  She has served on a number of appointed boards and task forces, most notably as the Co-Chair of the Mobile Home Community Rent Stabilization Task Force (2008) and the Chair of the Animal Care and Regulation Citizens Advisory Committee (2011).  Although she did run for City Council back in 2008, she is not on the ballot this year.  Mrs. Taylor was the California Delegate to the inaugural Mom Congress on Education in 2010.  She is a recipient of the Hands on Sacramento / University of Phoenix “Serve it Forward Scholarship” and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business in addition to working full time, running her part-time business, raising a family, volunteering in her community... and blogging on Patch.com.
